Backup types
Choose full, database, files, or media when creating a backup.
What it does
Stalza Backup can archive different slices of your site depending on what you need to protect.
Types
| Type | Includes |
|---|---|
| Full site | Database + themes, plugins, and uploads |
| Database only | SQL dump of WordPress tables |
| Files only | Themes, plugins, and uploads |
| Media only | Uploads folder |
Jobs are chunked and resumable so shared hosts stay within time and memory limits.
How to run
- Overview or Backups → choose type → Backup Now
- WP-CLI:
wp stalza-backup backup run --type=full(see WP-CLI)
Known limitations
Cloud destinations and incremental backups are planned for later releases. Free stores archives locally.
