Verification
A backup is not successful until Stalza verifies the archive and manifest.
What it does
After a backup job finishes packaging, Stalza verifies the zip and records a checksum and manifest. History shows Completed when verification passes.
How it works
Verification runs as part of the backup job. You can re-run it anytime with Verify on a history row.
Recommended action
Treat unverified backups as incomplete. Re-verify after copying archives between hosts. Do not restore from an archive that fails verification.
