First backup

Run your first verified backup from the Overview screen.

From Overview

  1. Open Stalza Backup → Overview.
  2. Under What to back up, choose a scope (full site is recommended for the first run).
  3. Click Backup Now.
  4. Keep the page open while the job runs. Progress appears in the status bar.

When the job finishes, status should show Completed (verified). Download, verify again, restore, or delete from Recent Backups.

Tip

Start with Database only on large sites if you want a faster smoke test, then run a full backup before you rely on the plugin for recovery.
